Program wymiany

Kilka słów o programie. Jest po angielsku, ponieważ otrzymałem go przed chwilą w formie cyfrowej i nie mam niestety czasu by go tłumaczyć. To najnowsza wersja i różni się nieco (wizytą w Amsterdamie) od tego, co przedstawiłem rodzicom na spotkaniu organizacyjnym.

Pierwsze dwa dni opisałem na blogu poniżej.

Dzisiaj (środa) planujemy warsztaty j. angielskiego o popularnych bajkach holenderskich.

EFTELING!!! Park rozrywki.

W piątek wyjeżdżamy.

Poniżej program wymiany:

Introduction
Dear student,
How wonderful that you have decided to participate in this exchange. We have tried our very best to come up with an interesting and fun programme and we have succeeded, if I may say so myself. To make this a successful and fun week for yourself and for your guest it is important that you and your parents read the Rules and Guidelines in this book.
During this week you will be doing activities and assignments in groups or with your partner. Some of the activities will take place at school and others will take place elsewhere.
We hope it will be a positively unforgettable week for all of you.

Have fun!

Mr Sieben,
Ms Wolvekamp,
Ms Mulders.

Rules and guidelines
No smoking, no drinking!
That also means you cannot offer alcohol to your partner at home. They are a guest and their parents rely on us to act responsibly and drinking at your age is illegal.

Be on time!
Buses ride on a schedule and therefore cannot wait for you. If you are late, one of the teachers will have to stay behind to wait for you and then travel back with you by train or taxi. You will have to pay for those extra expenses!!

Speak English at all times.
It is very impolite to speak another language when others cannot understand you. It may make them feel uncomfortable. If you have a problem expressing yourself, ask someone for help.

On top of these three rules all other normal school rules apply.

I would also like to give you a few guidelines as to how you can be a good host.

As you can probably imagine, it can be a bit scary sometimes to be away from home in a strange and foreign family. In a few weeks’ time you are going to be in that position yourself. Whether it is going to be a pleasant experience will also depend on how you and your partner treat each other.
A good host will try to make his guest feel at ease and try to make sure that he (or she) doesn’t feel alone or get bored. During your free time you are allowed to do what you normally do, such as going to a training or a match, or perhaps a birthday or to family, but take into account that he is going to be coming with you. Make sure you introduce your guest to the people you meet there and if possible ask those people to talk English too. Of course, you are also allowed to grab a movie or hang out with other students. Just make sure either your parents or one of the teachers knows where you are.
